| Funciones a desarrollar: | Our client is part of a multimedia services group with headquarters in Barcelona. He has been developing a media-center for one year. It is an open-source multimedia software that runs under Linux, and soon under Windows (it is free software). Our client’s goal is to promote it and provide an offering of value-added services, and take fee on generated value. Today, the free software is a Linux software. We are looking for an engineer who will help our client´s company porting this software under Windows, maintain it, help the community of developers and users and participate to the software development. The candidate must have an experience of the Linux world in order to find the best cross platform solution for the project. Functions: - Automated building procedures to compile Pigment on Windows - Adapting the open-source multimedia software to Windows specificities - Providing testing procedures to improve the software quality - Working on the software design and evolution - Writing new services - Driving the Windows community (users and developers) - Writing documentation including developer guides, support guides, internal reports and procedures - Working with partner companies and resellers to integrate the open-source multimedia software with their products The candidate will participate to the application development cycle, help us to improve our best practices, and improve our methodology and overall quality. |
