Degree in real estate economics or business sciences with a focus on real estate or property management, e.g. MBA or MAS Real Estate Management, Corporate Real Estate Manager (IRE|BS), Master in Real Estate (EBS) or the like.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in corporate real estate management or portfolio / asset management in an international property or non-property-company.
Competence in commercial real estate, especially retail properties
In-depth knowledge of international real estate markets, real estate financing and accounting, real estate law and property valuationProficient level of English in both speaking and writing (other foreign languages are an advantage)
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
Very good communication and negotiation skills, intercultural competence and integrity
Flexibility and willingness to travel

Reporting to our HQ, the Real Estate Auditor will:
Prepare and perform international audit projects on real estate functions or procedures of the METRO GROUP Sales Lines and Cross-divisional Service companies
Identify critical risks and control deficiencies and develop effective audit programs toaddress risk areas related to real estate
Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls in real estate related processes, e.g. real estate acquisition / disposal, lease management, facility and property services, investment calculation, real estate valuation, etc.
Present reports about the findings and conclusions to management at local and group level in a concise and efficient manner
Establish and maintain professional relationship with audited units and to act as supportive colleague within Group Internal Audit.
