The ABB Group of companies operates in roughly 100 countries and employs about 135.000 people.We are looking for a Workshop Manager who will join our Robotic's Team in Sant Quirze - Barcelona.

The main purpose or function of the position is to plan, direct and monitor all activities in the workshop. Together with project teams supervise and control installations and buy-off of standard cells and main projects executed on our workshop. Develop and manage workshop operations to control storage, pickings, movements and product dispatching.

The Major duties and responsibilities are:

-Workshop Operations. Plan and monitors the space for material storages and standard cells &projects installations, Oversees deliveries, stock control & others workshop/warehouse typical tasks.

-Project & Standard Cells Execution planning. Together with projects managers and manufacturing manager, organize and control planning and suppliers for the installation, commissioning and buyoffs for projects & standard cells.

-Workshop Improvements & Budget. Continuously improves the workshop operations, assuring the quality and excellence on all aspects. Propose and manage the annual workshop budget, optimizing resources, cost & utilization issues.

-Health, Safety & Environment. Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.

Requirements for the position:

-Industrial Engineer Degree in Organization or FP2 or professional modules (Mechanical, Electricity orElectronics) complemented with training in Organization and Management of Production and Operations.
-Good knowledge of English written and spoken (FCE Level)
-Capable to work with 2D/3D programs (Autocad and SolidWorks)-Ability in problem solving & corrective action techniques
-MS Office productivity tools experience (Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.)
-More than five years??experience, preferably in automotive business -Results orientation and autonomy, as well as team collaboration skills
-Highly structured organizational & environmental skills
