Multinational Company that works in cosmetic industrial and manufacturing Sector located in Vallès Oriental wants to incorporate a Project Engineer.

The person will be in charge of:

* Supports Engineering Project Managers or more senior project engineers in the implementation of Capex investments or projects from business case and technical design through to successful on-site execution and commissioning, including delivery and support of best in class Engineering/Maintenance.
* Contribute to the design of local Engineering strategy by providing Engineering Managers with project feasibility information.
* Participate in the design of tactical plans and execute related operational objectives.
* Participate in the preparation of business cases and related project plans and execute these upon approval by sponsor(s) and steering committee(s).
* Monitor day to day aspects of projects including quality of work product, client communications, budget,schedule, and coordinating technical staff (internal and external) and run regular reporting to higher management and stakeholders about project progress.
* Work with production, safety and laboratory managers as well as external specialists and authorities to create specification sheets, design and detailed plans respecting all norms and regulations as well as EHS standards.
* Maintain quality control of deliverables, demonstrating technical excellence, objectivity and clarity,adherence to project schedules, applicable quality management standards, safety and security regulations.
* Write and compile all required technical reports that summarize results from tests and feasibility assessments, recommended improvement opportunities, calculated associated savings, and estimated incentives.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers and place orders in collaboration with the purchasing department.
* Support project managers in resource and contingency planning.
* Controls contractors on site for the projects managed.
* Executes the project plan(s) within approved budget.


Perfil del candidato

Skills & Experience required:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
* Plant Engineering or Maintenance Certification.
* Project Management Certification.
* 0 to 3 years of experience in engineering, including exposure to engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines.
* Basics of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
* Good command in stakeholder management and communications.
* Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
* Good command in TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools.
