Leading company in the automotive sector (TIER1) located in Vallès Occidental needs to incorporate a Process Engineer into its production department.

In dependence of your manager, you will have to:

* Assure the Safety, Quality and Efficiency of the manufacturing processes, from its conception to product end of life.
* Work transversally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Quality to meet project requirements and deadlines.
* Lead the manufacturing launch of new / revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
* SAP use to create Master data, BOM, Work Center, Routing…
* Prepare and maintains detailed work instructions, operation sheets and engineering procedures.
* Establish the standard production rate for the new processes.
* Be able to asses, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
* Provide hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance / tool workshop personnel and gaining intimate knowledge of processes.
* Coordinate transversal teams for solving daily issues related to the production.
* Participate in internal teams for the continuous improvement of the production processes.
* Comply with and enforce internal policies and regulations on Safety, Health, Environment and Compliance. As well as, to participate actively in the implementation of the measures defined to reduce labour and environmental risks.


Perfil del candidato

The requirements for this job are:

* Technical Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* 2+Years of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience minimum
* Knowledge and understanding of Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing techniques
* Prior work experience in a metal forming and cold stamping manufacturing company
* Fluent English, spoken and written
