Manages Laboratory Functions.

Oversees the testing of materials and assesses needs and directs the purchase of laboratory equipment to ensure effective laboratory operations.

Develops procedures for analyzing data and conducting experiments to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. 50%

Reviews laboratory procedures, policies, and needs on a consistent basis to ensure maximum efficiency.

Revises procedures, policies, and needs as necessary

Investigates laboratory problems resulting from procedures, equipment, or other factors in a timely manner and taking appropriate corrective action. 20%

Oversees sample dispatch and keeps the sample which needs the storage. 20%

Sets performance goals, writes and performs performance reviews and evaluations, performs employee performance counseling. 10%


Perfil del candidato

Education: Minimum of a college [university] graduated, and/or 5 years in the field or related areas.

Experience: X-ray analysis, mechanical, electrical, and basic construction

Specific Skills:

Technical writing (analysis and safety).

Highly competent in computer use and structure

Excellent mathematical ability

Thorough understanding of OSHA and state safety regulations

Able to operate and assess all machinery used in operation
