The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for conducting full-life cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, meeting with prospective talent and complete the onboarding of the candidates for assigned searches in order to support the dynamic growth of Tech Data and lead recruitment processes for global and central roles within the organization across Europe.


Description

* Lead the end-to-end recruiting process.
* Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract viable candidates through methods such as web sourcing, Boolean searches, internal talent and employee referrals.
* Conduct interviews and provide consultation to the Hiring Manager during the process.
* Be a subject matter expert in the hiring process, HR related matters.
* Act as a solid partner and creative consultant with hiring teams.
* Provide support to Hiring Managers in identifying a consistent interview evaluation process.
* Deliver results with limited supervision.
* Participate in process improvement projects with the broader Talent Acquisition team.
* Ensure proper record tracking and process documentation.
* Focus on Diversity hiring. Be a champion of diversity by not only delivering a diverse slate of candidates for the business but contributing towards a culture that understands the impact of diverse thinking on the effectiveness of the organization.


Profile

* At least 3 years of experience in a recruiting-focused role
* Psychology - Business Administration - Labor Relations or similar degree
* Experience of developing resourcing strategies and creating in-depth recruitment plans to fulfill business targets is essential
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of proven recruitment methodologies and success with direct recruitment, working to tight deadlines with diverse roles
* Experience of working with sales, marketing and all levels of management to develop job descriptions and candidate pipelines highly desirable
* Experience in identifying competencies and conducting competency based interviews
* Negotiation skills to support supplier and candidate management (at offer stage)
* Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to deeply understand the business and assigned roles
* Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
* Previous use of Applicant Tracking Systems
* Candidates should be confident, capable and credible ambassadors for HR with excellent communication skills and natural relationship building abilities
* High level of English and German
