MS&T Technical Manager pack - Cosmetics (Temporary)

-Packaging development: You will be involved in the development of innovative and functional packaging solutions for new and existing cosmetic products focusing on secondary & tertiary packagings. This includes collaborating with the product development team, understanding their requirements, and translating them into practical and aesthetically appealing packaging designs.

You'll be responsible for evaluating and selecting materials that are not only safe and suitable for the product but also align with the company's sustainability and eco-friendly goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure that packaging aligns with the overall product vision and marketing strategy.

- Quality Assurance: As a Technical Manager Packaging, you'll implement quality control processes for packaging materials and finished products with the support from product development team. This involves conducting tests and inspections to ensure line trial validation & packaging meets the required standards and is free from defects.

- Supplier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with packaging suppliers is critical for a smooth supply chain. You'll work with suppliers to source packaging materials for secondary & tertiary packagings.

- Project Management: Keeping packaging projects on track and within set timelines is essential. You'll be responsible for creating project plans, setting milestones, and coordinating the efforts of the packaging team and other stakeholders.

- Risk Assessment and Troubleshooting: Identifying potential risks and challenges related to packaging and developing strategies to mitigate them is part of your responsibility. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot any packaging issues that may arise during production or distribution.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance documentation is crucial for internal purposes and to meet regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate for the MS&T Technical Manager Packaging role should have:
• Educational Background: BS degree in Packaging or related engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in production or continuous improvement roles.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GMP and GDP regulations.
• Packaging Development: Experience in developing secondary and tertiary packaging solutions.
• Project Management: Proven track record in managing and leading projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Formal qualification in Lean Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
