Analyst Short-term Trading Spain (m/f/d) in Renewable Energies

-You’ll support the team in expanding Encavis’ power trading business into the Spanish market.
-Together with local partners, you’ll set up the initial trading infrastructure for our market entry in 2026.
-Developing profitable strategies for the Spanish Day-ahead, Intraday, and Ancillary Services Markets will be a key part of your role.
-You’ll collaborate with technology partners to design and implement algo-trading strategies.
-Monitoring and overseeing daily trading performance will be part of your ongoing responsibilities.-You hold a degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, physical sciences, or a comparable field.
-At least one year of professional experience in short-term trading in Spain gives you a strong foundation for this role.
-Statistical analysis and the application of stochastic and fundamental models are part of your skill set; knowledge of meteorological and/or commodity market data is a plus.
-Working with data comes naturally—you can extract and manipulate data from APIs, CSV files, and databases, and you bring solid knowledge of SQL, R, and Python.
-You have gained hands-on experience in project management and know how to keep initiatives on track.
-You have a growth mindset, take ownership of projects, and value collaboration with team members and stakeholders to achieve common goals
-Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English enable you to operate successfully in an international environment.
