R2R Accountant with Turkish and English

Position Purpose:
Be part of the accounting team to ensure accounting records are maintained in line with the group accounting policy and accurately reflect the company's accounting process.

Primary Responsibilities:
Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation.
Driving month-end and year-end closing.
Preparation of end of month accruals.
Preparation of VAT and social charges declarations.
Meeting any internal and external Audit requirements.
Support the implementation of new accounting processes and tools.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Contribute to projects for continuous improvement purposes.
Being a primary contact for the local business partner in Turkey, as well as for internal stakeholders.Primary Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
Fluency in English and Turkish. Spanish considered a plus
Good knowledge of Excel
Minimum 2-3 years of experience within finance (accounting, audit, etc.), preferably in R2R/GL
Adaptability, Accuracy, Pro-activity, Responsibility and Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of VAT regulations and Turkish Local GAAP would be considered a plus
Turkish citizenship and a full-time work permit in Spain.
