Staff Accountant with English - Madrid / Remote

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
• Support monthly close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with franchise royalty and fee invoicing and collections tracking
• Support preparation of store-level and consolidated financial reports
• Help maintain accurate records for VAT and other local tax compliance across countries
• Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules and documentation
• Assist with expense report review against the Travel & Expense Policy

A successful Staff Accountant should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; multi-entity or multi-country experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of Spanish GAAP and tax requirements; exposure to IFRS is a plus
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Able to work to monthly close deadlines
• Comfortable working across multiple currencies and entities
